Profile

As long as I can recall, I have loved drawing, draping, cutting, sewing...
Ideas always came to my mind, but the greatest challenge was their realisation!
My first mentor was my grandma, who patiently taught me everything she knew.
Dreaming about fashion, I attended the Marangoni (MI) in “Pattern Cutting & Fashion Design” and at Parsons (N.Y.) “Aesthetics & the Creative Mind” and “Fashion Coordinator”.

I then acquired work experience. Among them Lize Tarraud, Studio P.F. and Merlet.
My great passion for costumes was achieved thanks to my employment at the world’s leading costumier Angels & Bermans. This led me to the realisation of the lead actress' dresses (M.Yeoh) in the James Bond movie “Tomorrow never dies”.

I reached the top in my work experience with a position at Vivienne Westwood, my greatest master craftswoman. Starting off as a Pattern Cutter/Designer Assistant I was promoted to Coordinator of the Gold Label, Vivienne Westwood’s superior line. I was also put in charge as Costume Coordinator on behalf of Vivienne Westwood for the realisation of the Opera “Il Rigoletto” of G. Verdi (directed by Vittorio Sgarbi) and of the Play “Elle” by Jean Genet.

For more than 3years I worked as Visiting Professor at the Textile University of Boras (Sweden) holding master classes in “Creative Pattern Cutting”.

My passion for philosophy acquired a place in my life when I decided to attend the Philosophical-Theological University in Brixen.
During this spiritual period of my life I worked for the “Parament Embroidery“ of the Franciscan Nunnery and as Consultant & Costumier for the “Gesellschaft des Elefanten”.

Now I work on my dream; an atelier where I can create special outfits out of my exclusive fabrics. But this is not the only thing I do….. I also work on performances and installations. Therefore I would define myself as a textile-art-designer.
